OT's & Romsey have appointed Richard Blake as Second XI captain for the 2024 season after Alex Bampton stood down from the role at the end of last season. Following his appointment at the club AGM, Blake was keen to get to work in his new role at winter nets. "I'm delighted to take over captaincy of the 2's and build on the hard work put in by Al. The club as a whole look to have strengthened following last years success and have some talented youngsters looking to push for places in the first team which bodes well for the club and the 2's progression. It's going to be a big winter for us as a whole, with Woody coming in and coaching the lads have to push each other to improve and support each other, but there is a lot to be excited about if the early weeks of nets are a sign of where we are."
