OT's & Romsey Juniors
We have a thriving juniors section playing in the New Forest League (NFJCA) and have mixed teams in the following age groups Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15. Our coaching team develop players so they can then progress into the seniors and a high percentage of our first team players were once all club juniors. Many of our juniors also go on a represent Hampshire on the Regional Players Pathway programme.

Membership Fees
Junior membership costs £100 per year. Sibling discount is also available for those with brothers or sisters at the club.
Included in memberships is - All coaching Summer training sessions, during April to July, this normally works out at 16 sessions lasting a minimum of an hour. Training can carry on into August if there is a demand for it. Winter training sessions, during January/February to April, this normally works out to be 10 sessions, lasting an hour. The children get about 26 hours of coaching from ECB qualified coaches, this works out at less than £3 a session. Also included is Insurance, Training equipment, Match fees, Coach education and upkeep of the clubhouses. Please note membership does not guarantee game time, whilst we try to be fair and give everyone a game we need to be competitive and select teams based on commitment and player ability. We try and arrange as many inter-club games as possible for those not playing league games to gain match experience. Please download, print, fill-in and return to the appropriate team manager.

Summary of Colts training and match days

During the summer months April-July our juniors train outside at the following times:
Under 9/Under 11 - TBC Under 13/Under 15 - TBC Training sessions can sometimes be longer and extra sessions can happen throughout the season. Training and games can also take place during August if there is demand for it. During the winter (Feb-April) we also train on a Sunday at an indoor location in the Romsey area. During the cricket season matches are played at the following times - Under 9 - Friday 6pm Under 11 - Sunday 10am Under 13 - Thursday 6pm Under 15 - Sunday 10am Team Managers/CoachesU9 - Ian Burrows
